Отель "Старый город" небольшой и очень уютный, расположен в старинном здании в историческом центре города Пенза. Также рядом находится Спасский кафедральный собор, самый большой в городе, не так давно восстановленный. Гостиница стоит на пешеходной улице Московской, где находятся самые крупные торгово-развлекательные центры, магазины, отделения разных банков.
