GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Alfa Hotel is set in mature child friendly gardens and has a lovely outdoor pool including a children's pool and houses 68 rooms. Around the pool is decking with umbrellas and sun loungers and a few strides away is the pool bar serving refreshments from 11am, and the 'al fresco' all inclusive lunchtime buffet.
Location: Alfa Hotel is a stylish hotel in the resort of Kolymbia, Rhodes. It is conveniently situated half way between the historic city of Rhodes and the archeological “gem” of Lindos. A short walk (250m) will take you to the main Kolymbia beach. A 10 minute walk will take you to the centre of the resort where you will find shops, bars and restaurants. Diagoras International Airport is 28km away.
Accommodation: All rooms at Alfa Hotel were refurbished in 2006, and have their own airy balcony, either with pool view or garden view. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Each room has its own air condition, flat screen tv with international satellite channels and a cooler fridge.
Meals: Breakfast is hot buffet style and is taken in the main restaurant, a lunchtime buffet is then available at the pool/garden bar buffet. Dinner is served in the main restaurant from 7pm until 9pm again buffet style. Lunchtime and Dinner buffet include a variety of salads, international, Greek or vegetarian dishes, sweets or fruit. High chairs and booster seats are available. A variety of soft drinks are available, there is a selection of locally produced wines, beers, spirits and house cocktails to enjoy.
Sports, Entertainment: Alfa Hotel offers its guests complementary use of the tennis court and indoor swimming pool, beach volleyball and table tennis at its sister four star hotel, Alfa Beach Hotel. Our young guests are also offered complimentary entry to the Kindergarten/Mini Club, at Alfa Beach, run by the German animation team. There is a twice daily Glass Bottom Boat excursion which goes from the main beach (250m), which takes you on a tour of beaches and coves only accessible by sea. On the beach, there are two water sports stations. Locally you will find Mini Golf and bicycle hire.
Service at the hotel: Alfa Hotel offers a 24 hour reception service. Car hire, bicycle hire, packed lunches, currency exchange, WIFI, safety box. Kettles, baby listeners, socket covers and baby bath are all available for hire on request.
