Nikolas Villa

Villa Nicolas is a 4 bedroom villa for up to 8 persons and is located on the outskirts of Stavros on the Akrotiri peninsula in western Crete. This exceptional luxury and contemporary villa stands on 2 floors in grounds of 3000sq mts and speaks modern sophistication in every way. It is luxuriously appointed throughout and has its own private infinity pool, gym, sauna and cinema room. Spectacularly positioned on the cliffs in a in a rugged and rural area near Stavros the villa looks out to sea and from where you can see magnificent sunsets and views to the bays of Chania. The villa is perfect for families, friends or for romantic getaways throughout the year.

The most wonderful element of Stavros village is a marvelous, narrow strip of sandy beach dominated by a mammoth rock shelf which was served as background in the movie Zorba the Greek. The beach is enclosed by the circular bay where you can enjoy the sea and sun. To the east a small fishing harbour and beach while to the west are the longer stretches of good sand, with rock pools along the shoreline for added interest. Beaches tend to be very quiet during on weekdays, except in high season of course, but the main beach can get more crowded at weekends as Stavros is a very popular place with the locals. Stavros village has a few restaurants, cafes and shops but no nightlife beyond the tavernas and bars.

Within 2-8kms there are facilities, especially at the bigger village of Kounoupidiana about 10minutes drive away. There you will find larger supermarkets, shops, a bank, ATM, tavernas, cafeterias, pizzerias, etc.

However, Chania, the capital city of the region is only 17kms away and is a must see for anyone visiting the area with its cosmopolitan atmosphere and beautiful Venetian harbour with characteristic pretty narrow streets, plentiful tavernas, cafes and shops.

With picturesque sandy beaches, centuries old monasteries and churches, impressive caves with rich litho logical and archaeological interest, and historical monuments, the Akrotiri peninsula attracts many visitors every year, all of who enjoy Cretan hospitality and nature at their best.

Please note that for large parties, Villa Nicolas is close to Villa Grace and both villas are almost identical except for some design/layout features. Villa Nicolas was built after Villa Grace.

About the villa

Villa Nicolas has four comfortable bedrooms, two of which have King size beds and the others have twin beds. There is a beautifully furnished spacious living room with a fireplace and a dining area,as well as a fully-equipped kitchen.

Each bedroom has air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV,and anen suite bathroom where luxurious bath amenities, bathrobes, slippers, and bath towels are supplied. In addition each bedroom has its own terrace with patio furniture and breathtaking views of Chania Bay and the Aegean Sea.

There are landscaped gardens with flowers, a lovely infinity pool swimming pool, a barbeque area, and a dining area shaded by a pergola where you can relax and enjoy the stunning views out to sea and the amazing sunsets.
