If you are looking for a place that completely breaks away from the standard, boring all-inclusive resort mold, this is it. My husband and I spent a week here, and we are still talking about how cool the atmosphere was. Here is our honest, detailed review of what it is really like to stay at Meraki: The Vibe & Design From the moment you walk in, you notice the unique bohemian-industrial design. It feels more like a trendy beach club in Mykonos or Tulum than a typical Egyptian hotel. Everything is very Instagram-friendly—lots of natural wood, rope accents, wicker furniture, and earthy tones. Because it’s adults-only (16+), the atmosphere around the pools and beach is peaceful, fun, and relaxing, with great lounge music playing softly in the background. No screaming kids, just pure chill. The Beach & Sea The beach is massive—reportedly the longest sandy beach in Hurghada—so even when the resort is full, you never feel crowded. The water: Crystal clear, gorgeous turquoise shades, and a very gentle, sloping sandy entry. The Pontoon: There is also a nice wooden jetty if you want to jump straight into the deeper water to check out the local marine life with a snorkel. Sunbeds: Plenty of comfortable sun loungers with thick mattresses and large umbrellas. The beach service is great; waiters regularly walk around taking drink orders right to your spot. Food & Drinks We’ve been to Egypt a few times, and usually, the food starts tasting the same after a few days. Meraki totally exceeded our expectations here. Main Buffet (Munchery): Great variety, fresh salads, delicious grilled meats, and live cooking stations. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. A la Carte Restaurants: We tried the Greek restaurant (Gyro) and the Asian one (Manzoku). Both were fantastic! The service was attentive, and the food quality was top-tier. Just make sure to book your tables through the app or guest relations in advance. Bars: The bartenders actually know how to make proper cocktails. The beach bar and the main pool bar are vibrant spots to grab an iced coffee, a fresh mojito, or a local beer during the day. Our Room We stayed in a classic room with a partial sea view. It was spacious, very clean, and decorated in that signature boho-chic style with concrete finishes and warm lighting. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable (firm mattress, which we love). Housekeeping was great—they left us fun towel art every day and kept the minibar stocked with water and soft drinks. Service & Entertainment The staff here really make the place special. Everyone—from the front desk to the beach waiters and animators—is genuinely friendly, polite, and speaks great English without being pushy or overly familiar.

Entertainment: There is daytime yoga, beach volleyball, and foam parties, but it’s never forced on you. If you just want to read a book under a palm tree, nobody bothers you. Nightlife: In the evenings, there is usually live music, a DJ set by the beach, or themed parties. It has a very lively nightlife scene compared to quieter resorts in the area. Huge shoutout to Sheriff Egypt for organizing our excursions! You can easily find them online just by searching their name. Their prices are much lower compared to what hotel guides charge, which was a huge plus. We highly recommend booking private tours to Cairo and Luxor with them—the guides speak fluent, excellent English, and we traveled in a brand-new, comfortable minibus (a 2026 model!). Everything was smooth, professional, and totally stress-free. The Verdict Meraki Resort is a breath of fresh air in Hurghada. It’s stylish, lively, romantic, and completely stress-free. My husband and I left feeling fully recharged and already dreaming of coming back next year.
