A good budget hotel
My husband and I just spent a week at Rewaya Inn Resort, and we wanted to share an honest review for anyone considering this place for their Red Sea getaway. Overall, we had a really relaxing and pleasant vacation, but like any 4-star budget resort in Egypt, it comes with a few pros and cons worth knowing before you book. 🌊 Location & Beach. The hotel is located a bit away from the super busy city center, which we actually loved because it was peaceful and quiet at night. The walk down to the private beach area takes about 5 to 7 minutes, or you can catch their little shuttle golf cart if it’s too hot. The Red Sea water here is crystal clear, warm, and fantastic for snorkeling—we brought our own masks and spent hours looking at colorful fish near the small pier. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available, though some of them are a bit worn out and could use an upgrade. 🛏️ Room & Comfort. We stayed in a standard double room on the second floor overlooking the pool area. The room was surprisingly spacious, clean, and equipped with individually controlled air conditioning (which was an absolute lifesaver in the July heat!). The bed was large and fairly comfortable, though the pillows were a bit too firm for my liking. Housekeeping came by every day to replace the towels and make up the bed with cute towel-swan shapes, and they even left fresh bottled water for us daily. 🍽️ Food & Dining. The main restaurant offers a buffet style for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was generally tasty with a good variety of fresh salads, rice dishes, grilled meats, and local pastries. Breakfast highlights: Freshly baked breads, omelets made to order, and delicious Egyptian sweets. Dinner highlights: Different types of grilled chicken and fish, plus a pasta station. To be completely honest, after about five days, the menu options started to feel a bit repetitive, and the desserts, while visually appealing, all tasted a bit too similar (very sweet!). The pool bar was great for a midday snack, serving up decent fries and mini-burgers alongside cold drinks. 🏊 Pool & Entertainment. The pool area is the heart of the resort. It’s clean, surrounded by palm trees, and has plenty of sunbeds. My husband loved hanging out by the swim-up bar. The animation team works hard to keep guests entertained without being annoying—they organize water aerobics, stretching, and evening mini-discos or belly dancing shows. It’s a very family-friendly vibe, but also calm enough for couples just wanting to read a book by the water. {удалено модератором: несанкционированная реклама} 🤝 Staff & Service. This is where the resort truly shines. Egyptian hospitality is legendary, and the staff here made us feel so welcome. A special shout-out to Mahmoud at the front desk, who helped us arrange a late check-out on our departure day, and our bartender at the pool who always remembered that my husband liked his soda with extra lime. Everyone greets you with a genuine smile and "Welcome to Egypt!" 💡 Final Verdict. If you are expecting a luxury 5-star ultra-all-inclusive palace, Rewaya Inn Resort might not be for you. But if you are looking for a clean, friendly, budget-friendly 4-star hotel to enjoy the Red Sea sun, swim in warm water, and unwind away from the heavy crowds, it is an absolute solid choice. We had a wonderful time together and wouldn't mind coming back!
