A Cozy Red Sea Escape
My husband and I just spent a wonderful week at the Magic Beach Hotel in Hurghada, and I wanted to share our genuine experience for anyone considering this place. If you are looking for a massive ultra-luxury resort with endless waterparks and wild parties, this isn't it. B{удалено модератором: несанкционированная реклама} Location & Beach. The hotel is located in the El Dahar district, which is the older, more authentic part of Hurghada. We loved this because it’s away from the heavily touristy Sakkala or resort-heavy Hurghada Promenade, giving you a real feel for local life. The hotel is right on the beachfront. Our room had a direct balcony view of the Red Sea, and waking up to the sunrise over the water every morning was absolute magic. The private beach area is intimate with comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas. The water is crystal clear, though you do need reef shoes because the shoreline has natural coral fragments and rocky patches—totally normal for the Red Sea coast, and great for snorkeling right off the shore! Room & Cleanliness. We stayed in a standard double room with a sea view. It was spacious, clean, and traditionally decorated. The air conditioning worked like a charm (which is a lifesaver in July!), and housekeeping refreshed our room daily, often leaving cute towel art on the bed. Everything was well-maintained, though the interior style is a bit classic and retro rather than ultra-modern. For us, that added to its charm. Food & Dining. We booked the all-inclusive package. The main restaurant offers a buffet with a good variety of dishes. Breakfast always had fresh pastries, omelets made to order, cheeses, and local fruits. For lunch and dinner, there was always a nice rotation of grilled meats, fish, fresh salads, rice, and traditional Egyptian dishes which my husband and I really enjoyed. The bartenders and waiters were exceptional—always smiling, remembering our drink preferences by day two, and making sure we were well taken care of without ever being intrusive. Service & Vibe. What truly sets Magic Beach apart is the people. The staff here treats you like family rather than just another reservation number. From the front desk receptionists who helped us arrange a taxi to El Dahar bazaar, to the pool attendants and dining room staff, everyone was genuinely kind and welcoming. Pros: Stunning, direct sea views from the rooms and balcony. Genuine beachfront location with a quiet, relaxing vibe. Warm, attentive, and friendly staff. Great location in El Dahar for exploring local shops and authentic Egyptian culture. Excellent value for money. Cons: The hotel is a bit older and has a traditional style rather than sleek, modern luxury. The beach area is compact, so it’s more for relaxing and swimming than long, sprawling beach walks. Overall, my husband and I had a fantastic, relaxing holiday. If you appreciate authentic hospitality, quiet evenings by the sea, and great value, Magic Beach Hotel 4* is a wonderful choice. We would gladly come back!
