We spent a wonderful 10 days at Makai by Brassbell Hyde Park Sea Shore from August 11 to 21, 2026. This intimate 5* boutique hotel on Egypt’s North Coast (Ras El Hekma, Hyde Park Sea Shore) has only about 50 cabana-style rooms, all with direct sea views and private terraces, which makes it perfect for a peaceful couple’s getaway.

Our cabana was new, spotless and very comfortable: modern furniture, a large bed, daily housekeeping and all essentials working perfectly. Waking up to the sea view from the terrace made every morning special. The hotel’s design is minimalist and stylish, and the small scale means you never feel crowded — it’s quiet, private and relaxing.

The beach is the highlight: a long stretch of soft white sand with calm, turquoise Mediterranean water and plenty of sunbeds. Service on the beach is attentive — special thanks to Kady for always being helpful and friendly. The pool area is also well maintained, with bar service and comfortable loungers.

Food was tasty, fresh and varied. The main restaurant serves international dishes throughout the day, and there are two bars (Beach Bar and Pool Bar) offering cocktails. We particularly enjoyed the quality of ingredients and the variety of options at meals.

The bar team made a real difference. Special recognition to Mr. Emad — his exceptional attentiveness, warm hospitality and genuine care for guests set a high standard. Thanks also to Mohamad Hassan, Zizou, Mahmoud, Boudy and Effat for their professionalism and friendly smiles. Reception staff — Mr. Zeiad and Hussein — were equally impressive, with a warm welcome and prompt assistance at every step.

Overall, an outstanding stay: we highly recommend Makai by Brassbell Hyde Park Sea Shore to couples and anyone looking for a heartfelt, high‑quality beach holiday on the North Coast. We will definitely return!
