experience at Sunrise Montemare was honestly one of the highlights of our stay. The variety, freshness, presentation, and quality of the food were impressive throughout the day, but the outdoor grill station was definitely something special.

The outdoor grill area offers an amazing selection, and one of the things we loved most was the possibility to choose exactly what we wanted. There is a beautiful display refrigerator with a wide selection of fresh raw meats and ingredients, allowing guests to select their preferred cut and have it freshly prepared on the grill. It makes the experience feel much more personal and enjoyable.

The grilled meat selection was fantastic. We tried the beef kofta, chicken kofta, grilled chicken, lamb chops, and veal chops, and everything was cooked very well and full of flavor. The lamb chops had a beautiful grilled aroma and were tender, while the veal chops were juicy and nicely seasoned. The beef kofta had a great smoky flavor, and the chicken kofta was tender and flavorful.

The hawawshi was another favorite. It was freshly prepared, crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and had a wonderful combination of spices. There was also shawarma being prepared outside, freshly sliced and served hot, which added another great option to the grill experience.

The pizza station was also excellent. There were four different types of pizza available, freshly prepared and baked, with a nice crispy base, melted cheese, and generous toppings. It was especially enjoyable to have freshly made pizza alongside all the grilled specialties.

Another great feature was the pasta station. Guests could choose their pasta and enjoy it freshly prepared with the sauce and ingredients they preferred. The pasta was hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly, making the station a great addition to the outdoor dining experience.

The seafood selection was equally impressive. There was a large variety of fresh fish available, including salmon, tuna, sea bass, mullet, and other local fish, as well as shrimp. Having so many different seafood choices and being able to enjoy them freshly prepared made the outdoor grill experience even more enjoyable. The grilled salmon was particularly delicious, with a nice texture and a lovely smoky flavor from the grill, while the shrimp was fresh, juicy, and perfectly cooked.

Inside the main buffet, the variety continued. There was a very good selection of salads, fresh vegetables, hot dishes, meat, chicken, fish, side dishes, and desserts. The rice was particularly good, with a wonderful texture and seasoning that made it a perfect accompaniment to the different main dishes.

We also really enjoyed the daily Carnival concept. Every day there was something different, with new dishes and different food selections, so the buffet never felt repetitive. The variety was excellent, and there was always something new to discover during every meal.

Breakfast was another pleasant surprise. The selection was extensive, and we especially enjoyed having salmon available during breakfast. The fresh crepes and waffles were fantastic, particularly with Nutella and the different toppings available. They were freshly prepared, soft inside, and delicious. The breakfast selection also included fresh bread, pastries, fruits, cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, yogurt, and a variety of other options, so there was something for every taste.

What impressed us most was the freshness and the number of choices available. Whether you prefer grilled meat, seafood, pizza, pasta, shawarma, hawawshi, fresh salads, traditional side dishes, or desserts, there are plenty of options to choose from.

The food presentation was also very attractive, and the stations were well organized. The staff working at the live stations were friendly and attentive, and it was clear that a lot of effort goes into maintaining the quality and presentation of the food throughout the service.

From the outdoor grill with beef kofta, chicken kofta, grilled chicken, lamb chops, veal chops, hawawshi, shawarma, four different pizzas, freshly prepared pasta, and a huge seafood selection, to the main buffet with its daily Carnival variety and excellent rice, and finally the fresh breakfast with salmon, crepes, waffles, and Nutella, Sunrise Montemare offers a dining experience with an impressive amount of choice.

We left every meal feeling satisfied, but also curious about what would be available the next day. The combination of live cooking, fresh ingredients, variety, and different daily themes makes the food experience at Sunrise Montemare something that really stands out.

A fantastic dining experience with plenty of variety, great flavors, and something for everyone. We would definitely recommend trying the outdoor grill and exploring the different buffet selections during your stay.
