We (my family and a friend) spent 5 days in this hotel and happy to recommend it for other travellers. Expat Manager (his name is Mark) has previous 5* hotel work experience, that's why even in Zanzibar he was able to provide good service. Open for any suggestions: I had a birthday and wanted African night. It was organized in the hotel by Mark in time and by cheap price (about 15 artists). Food is good, but portions are not big. We recommend to check what time ocean is available (for half a day it is gone away) and take excursions for half a day. "Octopus catch and sea safary" excursion was extremely interesting and costed simbolic proce. Mark does not organize excursions but usually recomment village guides and boatmen.
