Санаторий прекрасно вписывается в окрестности Железноводска, представляющие собой самый большой на КавМинВодах естественный лес, в котором растет множество уникальных видов деревьев, трав и кустарников, встречаются причудливые скалы-останцы, привлекающие любителей активного туризма. В лесу можно встретить кабанов, фазанов, лис, зайцев, множество видов птиц, а самым примечательным и распространенным деревом, особенно на северных склонах гор, является кавказский бук.
