Hotel Thalia is a family run business, which offers its services to the hospitality industry since 1979.
Since that time many renovation procedures have been done in order to please our quests and make their stay more comfortable.
From the first years from our operation the hotel became popular to clients from all over Europe mainly, due to the friendly relaxed atmosphere it has.
Most of our staff are family members, and the ones not, they have been so many years with us that they also feel as part of the family by now!

Our hotel is in one of the most known towns of Crete in L. Hersonissos.
This is 25 km east from the largest city of the island, Heraklion, where the main airport and harbor are located.
Since 1975 it started becoming very known for its fantastic, very healthy climate and the beautiful clean waters of our sea.
Since then the village grew up to became a town of approx.3.000 people, and it has together with the outskirts circa 30.000 accommodation beds, in hotels and apartments, in order to be able to accommodate our faithful visitors.
It is 35 km from Ag. Nikolaos, and about one hour drive from the unspoiled south!
The connection between Heraklion and Athens is excellent by ship or plane, with Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Santorini and with most of the major international airports.
