Large luxurious seafront villa with private pool - Waterfront villa

Divine Seafront Villas are part of the luxury villa complex called the Divine Villa Group which comprises of two luxury Seafront and six Sea View villas. The villas have 4 bedrooms sleeping up to 9 persons.

The two Seafront Villas (Athina 1 & Athina 2) differ from the Sea View villas as they are positioned at the front of the complex and as such enjoy a more commanding position at the edge of the sea from where views are stunning. The many-faceted views include the White Mountains, the sea, and the north coast. The villas are located between Teresa's and Stavros on the Akrotiri peninsula in western Crete, only 12km from Chania, the capital city of the region.

With its rugged coastline, the Akrotiri peninsula lies northeast of Chania. It attracts many new visitors every year as well as many who return year after year to experience the best of Cretan hospitality and to enjoy the surrounding nature. There are several lovely sandy beaches, interesting caves, churches and monasteries that date back centuries, and also historical monuments.

DIVINE VILLAS SEAFRONT LOCATION

The small beach of Mahairida is only 600m away, and at a distance of 1.3km is Tersanas, a small seaside village with a lovely sheltered sandy beach and a couple of tavernas. The sandy beach at Kalathas is the only 4km drive from the villa, and just 3.5km away is the village of Stavros which enjoys several local amenities including a few tavernas, cafe/bars and a mini-market.

Stavros has an excellent sheltered sandy beach and is perfect for children and is well known for its association with the film Zorbas the Greek where scenes were filmed at the beach. The village of Kounoupidiana is 7.5km away where you will find a wider choice of supermarkets, shops, restaurants, a bank, petrol station, bakery, and a chemist.

Chania is a beautiful town with a cosmopolitan atmosphere. The Venetian harbour is a sight to behold with little fishing boats bobbing up and down on the water on the eastern side, while the waterfront on the western side has an abundance of cafes and restaurants ranging from local to chic. Narrow, picturesque and characteristic streets with a splendid array of shops, boutiques, small cafes and tavernas leadoff behind the waterfront. Theotokopoulou St. is one not to be missed with its characteristic Venetian buildings and ornate balconies. A visit to Chania should be near the top of any list of things to see and do whilst in the area.

The location makes an excellent starting point for exploring beautiful western Crete whether you are interested in sightseeing, archaeology, walking, horse riding or simply relaxing and enjoying some of the wonderful beaches in the area.

DIVINE VILLAS SEAFRONT ACCOMMODATION

These 200sqm villas are built on split levels and rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished in a traditional style with a luxurious touch. Beautiful gardens and a swimming pool complete a perfect setting bound to surpass your expectations. Each house is individually designed and furnished with colours in shades of grey, white, blues and pinks.

Each villa has four bedrooms, mostly with double beds, and each has an en suite bathroom with shower. A double Master bedroom with a wooden floor and ceiling and also a balcony is located on the upper floor. Three more bedrooms are on the lower ground floor. All bedrooms have a TV with DVD player, bathrooms have bathroom amenities including a hair dryer. Mattresses are Danish orthopaedic and fine cotton bed linen is used.

On the upper ground floor there is a large open plan living/dining/fully equipped kitchen which is accentuated with floor to ceiling windows. The fully furnished, stylishly decorated open plan living room includes a fireplace, a sofa, satellite LCD TV, a dining area and kitchen with a big fridge/freezer, an electric cooker with oven and ceramic hob, a dishwasher, a kettle, a microwave, a toaster and a coffee machine. There is also a guest WC on this floor. The furnished veranda has a table and chairs for al fresco dining, as well as comfy outdoor lounge furniture.

Marble floors adorn the stylish interior and exterior. All bedrooms and the living room are air-conditioned and have a 32inch flat screen TV and DVD. Outdoors there is a furnished terrace, verandas & balconies, dining table & chairs, a portable charcoal BBQ, sun loungers and umbrellas. The villas share a common tennis court of international measurements. Once a week in July and August guests are invited to the court for refreshments while watching a Magic Show or the Clown Show. Each villa has private parking space, security alarm and automatic night lighting. There is a utility room with a washing machine and dryer, iron & ironing board on the lower ground floor.

The price for the villa is for up to 8 persons and can facilitate one extra person which can be an adult (bed 90cm x 2mt) at a cost of 50e per day, OR a child under 6 years on a smaller bed at 25e per day, OR and infant under 2yrs in a cot which is free of charge. In exceptional circumstances a cot for a second infant may be requested at a cost of 25e per day. Specific villas cannot be guaranteed.
