Provarama Hills Villa

Provarma Hills Villais a beautiful spacious and modern superior 4 bedroom villa which can sleep up to 8 persons and up to 14 persons if sofa beds are used. It measures 350sq mts and is located in the hills above Gerani in the Chania region of western Crete.

This luxury villa has spectacular views of the Cretan sea reaching as far as the Akrotiri Peninsula and the island of Theodorou and is well suited for larger families or groups of friends. It is tucked away from hustle and bustle and at the same time enjoys easy access to nearby sea side resorts ranging from highly developed Platanias, to the much lesser developed Tavronitis, with everything else in between.

The 3 level villa sits in grounds of 6 acres surrounded by olive and orange groves, it has beautiful lawns, a walk-in pool with childrens section, a childrens playground with swings and a trampoline, a covered BBQ area, a large hammock to enjoy perfect relaxation, and it even has its own chapel ... not to mention a horse too!

The lower level can be accessed without entering the villa and thus can be great for teenagers wanting their own space. The relaxing interiors open out to a peaceful exterior and panoramic views are to be had from most parts of the house from the many windows and balconies.

Chania, the capital city of the region is 16 kms away and is a 'must' see for any visitor to western Crete. The atmosphere of Chania is vibrant and cosmopolitan, and it is an absolute delight to stroll around the Venetian harbour with its charming, characteristic narrow streets where youll find an abundance of tavernas, cafes, bars and shops.

The area is also an excellent starting point for further exploration of western Crete whether your interest be archaeological, walking, cycling, or simply relaxing and enjoying some of the wonderful beaches. 6 mountain bikes are even supplied at the villa.

This exceptional villa is bordered with a stone wall and entrance is by remote controlled gates. Furnishings are contemporary and stylish and the lounge area is very spacious. It has an olive grove as well as a horse.

Behind the main house is a covered BBQ area with a BBQ and a pizza oven and a large dining table and chairs, preparation facilities etc. Indoors there is also plenty to do as the villa has its own games room. There is internet access throughout.

Anyone wanting to be in close proximity to a wide choice of amenities, beaches, and tavernas, but with the option of relaxing in your own beautiful, peaceful, and very private villa, will find Provarma Hills an idyllic base.

Lower Floor

The lower floor has a door that leads to a lawn at the side of the villa thus giving independent access but it can also be reached by stairs leading from the kitchen.

Upper Ground Floor

Access is by steps from the pool level. The main entrance to the villa leads in to a huge living room which also has a dining area and a kitchen. To one side of the villa there are sliding glass doors that lead to a terrace furnished with an outdoor sofa, chairs and a coffee table. The ceiling is approximately 6 metres high and reflective glass keeps the heat out but allows the light to stream through resulting in a bright and airy living space. The many windows capture the stunning surrounding view of the olive groves going all the way down to the sea.

The modern dark brown kitchen is fully equipped with cupboards on both sides. It has a microwave; a dishwasher; an American fridge with double doors and an ice maker; china & glassware; kitchen utensils; toaster; kettle; coffee maker; toasted sandwich maker; kettle; ceramic hob and built in oven and grill. The kitchen leads to a sunny breakfast room which can seat 8 persons.

The open plan living space has 2 different seating areas as well as the dining area. A couple of steps lead down to the TV area which has comfortable seating with sofas and chairs as well as a 50inch TV, DVD player and PlayStation 4.

Another sitting area has an L-shaped sofa and a modern relaxing chair as well as a marble fireplace, plus there is a dining table with a large table with chairs. This floor also has a WC and a cloak room.

Upper Floor

Stairs lead to the upper level where there is a hallway with a double sofa bed and a coffee table and exit to a balcony. Off the hall are 3 bedrooms, each with a double bed. The master bedroom has a fireplace, a walk-in wardrobe, two balconies, a Queen sized bed, Sat TV, and an en suite bathroom with a large Jacuzzi bath.Each of the other 2 bedrooms has a wardrobe, bedside cabinet with lamp, TV and air conditioning and a small narrow balcony. Mattresses are good quality.

Outdoors there is a pool with walk-in steps and a childrens section (7.5mts x5 mts with depth 50cms 165cms /childrens section 4mts x 2mts approx. with depth 50cms). A double hammock sits by the pool where there is also several ample sun loungers and umbrellas.

Gardens and the lawn are well kept and there is also a childrens playground. There is a covered built in BBQ with a separate pizza oven and also a long wooden table and chairs. Wind protectors can be rolled down on breezy days.

Private parking is also en site. Six mountain bikes are available for clients use.
