Amnissos Residence was built in 1987 and is a family business.Consist of 81 rooms, which 57 of them arebuilt in a Bungalows style like a Cretan Traditional Village and24 of them situated in a Main Building with 2 floors. The total area of the hotel is 10 acres and as result of this the hotel is quite comfortable and spacious, full of green, beautiful gardens with many trees and flowers. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, one for adults (150sq.m and depth 1,70m) and one for children (35sq.m and depth 0,80m). There is also a main restaurant with interior and exterior spaces and totally capacity 250 people, 2 bars, the main Pool Bar of the hotel beside the swimming pools and the "Tropical Bar" on the grass and close to the swimming pool area.

The Reception of the hotel is also a comfortable place, with lobby bar, satellite tv, biliard and wifi internet access free of charge for the hotel clients. There the clients may relax and ask useful information about "Rethymno" and Crete generally.

The hotel situtated in the region of "Pigianos Kampos" , insecond line, 7km from the centre of the city "Rethymnon" and the distance from the beach is 100m. For the hotel clients there are sunbeds & sun umbrellas free of charge. The beach is clean and sandy and the entrance to the sea has small pebbles, but after the sea is also sandy.

The hotel is renovated every year, and in the latest renovation of2015, all rooms changed by new furnitures, matresses, pillows, warddrobes &balcony furnitures. Every room is equipped with Satellite Tv, Air condition, Mini Bar, Safe Box, Hairdryer, bath or shower as well as terraces or big balconies. The rooms in Bungalows style are 27 square metersand in Main Building 25 sq.m.

For children there is an Animation Kids Club as well as a brand new playground. An animation team organize every day different activities for kids and for adults. In addition, in the hotel organized Karaoke Nights, Greek & Cretan Nights with live music, Disco Nights in Pool Bar area.

There is Wi-fi connection free of charge in Reception, Restaurant & Swimming Pool area.
